Manny

Manny! Manny! Manny! Money! Money!
Indeed Manny "Pacman" Paquiao had gone a long way. From a simple boy of GenSan, he's now rubbing elbows with the rich and powerful, our Hero and of course a billionaire! to mention a few. For sure, financial concerns is no longer a problem for him. With the coming fight vs Miguel Cotto, Millions of dollars again will be added into his already bulging bank account win or lose. Wish he could lend some for me.
Oh how i wish i could have some millions of pesos right now -- where's the LAMP when you need it. While others are throwing their money for no particular reasons -- like our thick skinned POLITICIANS here, (it would have been nice if it's thier own money that they are wasting and not our money) this is so true, especially now when elcetion is nearing, --i'm hard up making ends meet. As they say, "Life's not fair my Man"
Up to know im still waiting for that magic call from TV Game show executives informing me that i am qualified to be one of the contestant... For the time being i'll just keep on texting TV games shows and eating up my precious cellphone load.
Who knows, i might get lucky and be like Manny!
Mabuhay si Manny, Mabuhay ang Pinoy!
Ano, Deal or no Deal?

First

I was trying to surf the net looking for something that can earn me some cash, and look where i ended! Blogging my first Blog! He he he. Guess i could say now welcome to the age of INTERNET -- or was it decades ago?

I was born in the 70's where people wear bell bottom blues, where Pres. Marcos declared Martial Law in the Philippines, where the word "COMPUTER" i think was not yet part of the vocabulary of MR WEBSTER -- or if it is, I'm pretty sure the definition is not what it is today.
How I missed those days where as kids we used to play using our imaginations. Remember, -- "war games" using wood as gun. Even to the point of quarelling because you "HIT" him first and he should have died. Ha ha ha. Or the block of woods with the "crown of the soda" as the tire for our trucks. Sitting side by side on the edge of our beds, racing with each other going way beyond the speed limit set by FIA?
These days if your going to ask the kids what are they doing, they would answer you - COMPUTERS, INTERNET - Ragnarok, Red Alert, NFS, SF, Chatting, not to mention blogging -- where i am now. -- hehehe. I think, for me personally, too much internet or computer for that matter could hinder the ceative imagination of the child.
How i wish they could experience what we have experience before. Personally, i was hoping that technology hasn't grown that fast. But then again, I've be writing this using typewriter and snail mailing it. ;-)
